The Joys of Annual Flowers - Zinnias (Part 1)

Physical and Integral Endurance

Yes, it is true, annual flowers last only one season yet whether that season is brief as in Alaska or long as in the tropics and semi-tropics, annual provide a display of beauty that is often breathtaking.

Mother has named many annual flowers and in this and forthcoming blogs we will study their messages as revealed by Mother.

We begin with Z! This is the realm of zinnias and the significance Mother has given to them is 'Endurance' and I have seen, on the physical plane, an endurance that all of us would be grateful to have, for in the desert, surrounded by sand and a few brown and thirsty grasses, I saw zinnias in full bloom, without having received water for weeks, perhaps even longer.

In 1970, 1971 and early 1972 I grew some of the largest zinnias from seeds sent from the U.S. and sent the flowers through Tara Jauhar to Mother. Mother gave names to all the zinnias I sent her and they are very special for in each of our lives there come times when we need a true endurance that can withstand the difficulties we must face and overcome.

As we have learned previously, the colours of flowers often signify the plane of existence or consciousness with which they are identified. Below are two zinnias named by Mother with more to come in future blogs.
